This festivity is celebrated in mid July in the urban area of A Cañiza. During the procession, 30 "costaleros" (float bearers), dressed in the habits of their brotherhood, carry the image of Christ around the village. The final destination of the procession is the stone cross of Cacharado, adorned the previous night with a flower carpet, made by the villagers.
