Under the international bridge that joins the towns of Arbo and Melgaço, in Portugal, there is a large viewpoint and a riverside walk by the Miño river, where you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view or play active sports in the river and its surroundings.
This was one of the natural spaces that caught the eye of the Hollywood industry, in 1957, to film The Pride and the Passion, starred by Cary Grant, Sofia Loren and Frank Sinatra. It is set in the Spanish War of Independence at the beginning of the 19th century, in a country invaded by the Napoleonic troops. Some of its scenes were filmed in the rapids of the Miño river, in the municipality of Arbo, recreating a river battle.

Este fue uno de los espacios naturales que cautivaron en el año 1957, a la industria de Hollywood para el rodaje de la película Orgullo y pasión, interpretada por Cary Grant, Sofía Loren y Frank Sinatra, el largometraje está ambientado en la Guerra de la independencia española a comienzos del siglo XIX, en un país invadido por las tropas napoleónicas. Algunas de sus escenas se filmaron en los rápidos del Miño en el municipio de Arbo, recreando una batalla fluvial.
