This viewpoint sits on a wooden balcony, at a height of around 100 metres, and overlooking the Ría de Vigo.
The area boasts beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean, and is scattered with many islets and shoals that make it hard to sail. The Thalassa viewpoint, next to the roundabout, reminds us of these dangers, as it was made in tribute to the Thalassa, the boat that sank in 1948.
Nearby, you will find the Silleiro lighthouse, an impressive overlook that offers views of the Atlantic Ocean and acts as a sentinel, guarding the entrance of Ría de Vigo.
