This beach is located at the foot of the walls around the peninsula of Monterreal, which today has a tourist parador hotel and a yacht club. It is in front of the marina and the fishing ports in the town centre. Due to its sheltered location at the beginning of the promenade, waves at this beach are almost non-existent.
