Architect Alfonso Penela Fernández took on the project of turning a completely abandoned salting factory into a contemporary rural tourism destination. A house of flexible design was built around an entrance courtyard on the foundations of the old factory. It is protected by a stone wall facing the sea. The design combines modernity, simplicity and austerity, but never forgetting it is the restoration of an historical building.
