This forest covers an area of 1,080 hectares in the valley of the Arnego River. It contains many centuries-old cork oaks that can reach up to 25 metres. They are only present in Galicia in sheltered river valleys and are usually accompanied by other oaks. There is a path with some mills and a recreational area near the forest.
