Thanks to its geographic location, the mountain range of Monte Faro (1,187 m altitude) is an excellent suntrap that also provides a view of the four Galician provinces. This large granite block features rounded summits and gentle slopes falling away towards the Miño valley, which is predominantly composed of fields and meadows. At the top is a recreation area and a hermitage honouring Our Lady of O Faro on the 8th September every year
