This pazo or traditional manor house covers 54 hectares of gardens, fields and forest. It contains an important botanical garden created in 1949 which consists of an arboretum with local and exotic species planted from the 19th century onwards. Some important varieties on a natural, landscape and cultural level have been included in the Galician Catalogue of Singular Trees, such as the cedar of Lebanon, the dawn redwood and the Japanese and Chinese chestnut. Other notable species are the Dutch elm, the queen palm and the magnolia.
