This is a convent outside the old part of Pontevedra, close to one of the five entrances of the old wall, where cloistered nuns reside. The establishment of the Poor Clares in Pontevedra goes back to the 13th century and was the preferred place of the most illustrious families of the zone for placing their long-term single daughters. A Gothic-style church from the end of the 14th century, with an outstanding polygon apse, higher than the single-dome nave with ribbed sides. It has an exquisite churrigueresque altar, and some elements from another Templar convent that used to stand on the same site have been reused. It also has baroque-style altars
