Cambados is a town full of traditional manor houses, noble streets made of stone and monuments in every corner, all of which make it a granite open-air museum. The town was born after the unification of three villages: the noble Fefiñáns; the fishing neighbourhood of Santo Tomé, where there is a defence tower with a perfect panoramic view of La Toja to the left and the Arousa Island to the right; and lastly Cambados proper, full of squares, cobbled streets and the impressive ruins of Santa Mariña Dozo.
