This urban stately home was built in the 18th century by Antonio García Estévez and his wife Tomasa Suárez Flórez based on an older, smaller manor house. The facade has an arcaded portico with three arches and robust columns, three doors with decorations on the first floor and two on the second, all leading to balconies that run around the building to the eastern and western sides and flank a large shield with a helm.
The building houses samples of jet, engravings, Sargadelos pottery, religious sculptures and a traditional Galician kitchen, as well as the office of Admiral Méndez Núñez and a reproduction of the chamber of the Frigate Numancia.
