Iglesia de San Salvador de Setecoros
The weather in this area
The building of the current church began in the 16th century, but since the 4th century there was already a Visigoth temple in the parish. Several marble capitals, some attached to the current church and others in the Museums of the Cathedral of Santiago and Pontevedra, are still preserved. Apparently, it was a basilica destroyed by the Barbarians.
The church has only one nave. The façade is of Neo-classical style and is divided by four pilasters topped by a triangular pediment with a central simulated oculus. It also has a semicircular arched portal with mouldings and a bell tower on the side with two bodies covered by a dome.
