The Church of As Neves was constructed in the 17th century, after a local child witnessed the appearance of the Virgin Mary. The town of As Neves grew up around the church. It is the work of the architect Melchor de Velasco and the stonemason Amaro do Campo. The most striking aspect is the Pyramid Tower, of which there are only five in Galicia, and it has a main altar in Galician Baroque style
